UPDATE:   FEBRUARY 2008

I ended 2007 completing a six week tour as guitarist accompanying Amos Lee. We were the opening group for the Bob Dylan/Elvis Costello Fall Tour of '07. The tour started at the Austin City Limits Music Festival down in Texas, went up to the Ryman Auditorium for two nights in Nashville, and then up the east coast, back into the mid-west and ending with three nights at the Chicago Theater in the windy city. The experience was magical.

THE SWEETBACK SISTERS TOUR:

UPDATE: APRIL 2007
After 2 successful east coast tours with the The Sweetback Sisters, the band performed at Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion 'Talented People in Their Twenties' show in St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturday April 21st. The Sweetbacks came out winners! Go to the Prairie Home Companion website to hear the show.

As the temperatures vary between 65 and 5 degrees within weeks, and receiving my diploma in the mail, I have been busy as a bee. Devin Greenwood's EP has been released and you can purchase it either through iTunes or CDBaby. We will be supporting that with carefully selected shows in the Philadelphia region.

I have also been involved in not one, not two, but three recording projects. Barnone Records Recording Artists Birdie Busch has begun her new record with Devin Greenwood at the helm, conveniently located in his house, at Secret Piney Junkyard Studio in South Philadelphia. Things have been pickin' up and beautiful sounds are being conjured by various instruments and voices. Ol' "spirit horse" John Francis has also begun his next recording project with acclaimed producer Phil Nicolo. I will also be taking part in some recording sessions with gospel producer/songwriter/pianist extraordinaire Freddie Washington.

Also, in other news, Philadelphia legend Cowmuddy has been employing me as his bass player. We recorded a record entitled "Farming Mind" and you can purchase it HERE. It rocks and it rolls in very wonderful ways.
